WXW C4 Return to Mountainville with "Pizza Pizza" on Feb 18th with the Return of Sal Bellomo and his BWF!

This past Saturday WXW C4 was reborn as new rivalries started and old alliances returned. In the main event, shockingly new tag team Champions were crowned when Bow Nakoda and Lance Anoa'i teamed up to defeat newly crowned champions The Killer Studs. During the match for the newly created TV Title, Lance and Bow's brutal match was interrupted by the Studs forcing the unlikey duo to work together to fend them off. After this, Commissioner Bentley determined that later in the night Bow and Lance would team up to take on the Studs in a Tag Team Title match. The two were able to work together long enough to pick up the win and the gold, but what lies in store for them in the future? The answer to that is the Dirty Rotten Scoundrelz (more on that later).

The scheduled tag team match featuring RJR and Ultimate World Champion Nui Tofiga taking on Billy Dream and Afa Jr was unexpectedly turned into a 6 man tag team match with The Privates and Nui. While Shawn Credle and crew thought the numbers game were on their side, Afa Jr's brother LA Smooth came to the aid of Afa and Dream. After a brutal match Afa, Dream and Smooth picked up the win and giving Afa Jr a rematch against Tofiga for the Ultimate World Title at our next event "Code Orange" to be held on Saturday, February 18th at the Mountainville Memorial Hall. This should prove to be a hard hitting match.

Going back to the tag team title scene, a 4 way tag match was scheduled to determine the new number one contenders. Participants included AC Anderson and Havoc, All Money Is Legal, the Dirty Rotten Scoundrelz and the surprise team of the Daniels Dynasty, Smooth Tommy Suede and Eric Cobian. Fans were shocked to see Cobian at the side of Daniels and Suede but also saw another new face at ringside for the family reunion. For months we've been hearing that Doc had "met someone special" and even went so far as to tell Maven Bentley he was a changed man and was often distracted at ringside, constantly causing Tommy Suede matches. Now sources at the scene of Blast TV exclusive confrontation is claiming that Jessie is the person that Doc has been telling Suede about and will now be with him at the side of the Dynasty. As this was going on, Cobian walked by only to have Doc ask him to team with Tommy that night due to Eric falling on "rough times" since loosing the title and Suede and Daniels having better luck then Cobian. Eric reluctently agreed, however they came up short to DRS after a concealed object was used to pick up the win. Next month the Tag Titles will be on the line when DRS challenges Bow and Lance on February 18th. Is the Dynasty truely back in full force or did this loss strain the relationship between Cobian and Suede and Daniels? Who exactly is Jessie Kay and will her presence be a help or an even more distraction to Daniels and Suede? Find out on the 18th!

Another match saw two high profile debutes in WXW C4 when former TNA Stars went one on one when Amazing Red took on Sonjay Dutt. This match was a fast paced clinic and surely will not be the last match between these two.

Next month C4 returns to the Mountainville Memorial Hall in Allentown, PA for the aptley named "Code Orange" as former WWE, ECW and WXW Star Sal Bellomo will return to Allentown with his wrestlers from BWF. The last time they were here they turned C4 upside down and this should be no exception! Tickets are $15 for rows 1 &2 and $12 for GA and can be purchased at the door.

WXW C4 is proud to present it's 2012 kick off event "Reborn" on Saturday, January 7

at the Mountainville Memorial Hall in Allentown, PA with a 7:30pm belltime. This will be a huge show to kick off a monumental year for WXW C4 and wrestling as a whole in the Lehigh Valley.

As we approach closer to a Stabler Arena debut on March 18th, the WXW C4 offices have discovered that TNA Star SONJAY DUTT will be in the house on January 7th! Now we have also learned that former TNA X-Division Champion THE AMAZING RED will be there to go one on one with Sonjay! This should be a classic for Mountainville fans as we count down the days to March 18th! Plus, an exclusive announcement will be made on the 7th as the Main Event for our Stabler debut will be announced!! Who will be in the first main event and what other stars will be announced for this huge event? Stay tuned to Blast TV and WXWC4.com for more information as stars will be announced weekly starting in the new year!

Nui Tofiga has ended 2011 with a Blast of his own. After a huge surprise in November when Tofiga captured the Ultimate World Championship in November he was able to prevent Afa Jr from getting his guaranteed rematch this past Saturday at Winter Warfare by viciously attacking his leg. Instead Billy Dream stepped up to the plate to try and recapture the Championship only to also fall to Nui. Now a war has brewed for Reborn In The New Year when Shawn Credle leads his troops of Nui Tofiga and Sgt RJR to war against Afa Jr and Billy Dream! Will Nui continue to dominate in 2012 or will he fall to the two former World Champions?

Speaking of domination, no newcomer has had a year, let alone a record like "The Man's Man" Bo Nekoda. After a no count out match against Lance Anoa'i, just as Lance was about to get the win, somehow Nekoda was able to stop the ref from counting to 3 only to have the alotted time for the match expire and keeping the undeafted streak going strong into 2012. In response to this Maven Bentley has made a major announcment for January 7th: One more time, Bo Nekoda takes on Lance Anoa'i but this time there will be No Count Outs, No Time Limit and No Disqualification - THERE MUST BE A WINNER. And if the stakes weren't high enough the newly created Blast TV Championship will be introduced and be on the line in this match! One man will walk out with the championship and Bo has stated that it is his New Years Resolution to keep the streak going and capture his first championship. However, Lance is determined to prove that he is the real Man's Man by being the first to get a win over Nekoda.

More matches will be announced in the coming weeks along with more information about the huge March 18th event in Stabler Arena. FANS SPEAK OUT ABOUT THE YOKOZUN EVENT!!
( a letter from a fan at the show.)

Hi Samu, I just wanted to let you know as a fan (and I’m sure my opinion is a dime a dozen) I thought the show was great. Sandman was Sandman, that’s for sure, but minus him, it really was the best indy show I’ve seen. The talent, personalities and skill level of the wrestlers was phenomenal. Lance, will one day be a star. May need to bulk a little bit. He’s still young. Afa Jr., proved that WWE can drop the ball sometimes but I’m sure they will be calling him back up soon enough. Their roster needs a burst of life and with the Usos getting very little air time, they will soon need some Samoan stars within their product. This is the first time in my memory that they do not have a Samoan star prominent within their story lines. Road Dogg, 2 Cold and Dawn Marie were cool. Homicide is awesome and the ladies match was memorable. I loved that you had Rodney’s kids there. I think they were too young when Yoko was in his prime but they probably just remember him getting booed a lot. I don’t think at their young age they could have grasped how much Yokozuna meant to the fans of professional wrestling. It would be quite hard to find a heel as hated as the Yokozuna character was. And without hated heels, there would be no Bret Hart, Hulk Hogan, etc. It just meant a lot for me to be able to let his son know how much I personally appreciated his father. That show brought back memories of a simpler time. And the reuniting of the Samoan Swat Team was also very, very special for me. To see you get in the ring was special. You guys still got it. You were two great heels in your day. Former tag team champions The Headshrinkers. I thought however, that you were going to jump in the ring about 90 mins sooner when Sandman was acting a fool. I just wanted to say thank you for allowing us all to be part of that moment and I can see myself attending future WXWC4 events. My friend and I would be more than honored to be able to start our website by promoting WXWc4 events. My name is Denis and one of the highlights of 31 year old, veteran life is being able to correspond with the Great Samu through e-mails.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
WXW C4 SIGNS DEAL WITH HARRAH'S CASINO IN CHESTER, PA. TO DEBUT ON OCTOBER 1ST WITH THE 2ND YOKOZUNA MEMORIAL SHOW: 10 YEARS IN THE MAKING! "GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN" Allentown, PA - The front office of WXW C4 is proud to announce its newest working relationship with Harrah's Chester Casino and Racetrack, located right outside of Philadelphia. Just minutes from the Philadelphia International Airport located directly off of Exit 8 on I-95 in PA. This new venture gives WXW-C4 the opportunity to showcase its product to a new group of wrestling fans as well as entertaining the faithful. The first collaborative effort between WXW-C4 and Harrah's Chester Casino and Racetrack will show new fans in and out of the Casino what C4 is all about: 10 Years In The Making, The Yokozuna Memorial II ! Gone But Never "Forgotten"5

A member of the famed Anoa'i wrestling family, Yokozuna is a former WWE World and Tag Team Champion and the winner of the 1993 Royal Rumble which was the first year that granted the winner a World Title match. Yokozuna sold out arenas all over the world and main evented a number of WrestleManias. At close to 500 lbs., it was not only his size that was intimidating to whoever stood across from him in the ring, but also his agility. He could do things in the ring that men 1/3 of his size couldn’t even comprehend. In October of 2000, Yokozuna tragically passed away well before his time while on a European Tour in Liverpool, England. It was a devastating loss to not only the wrestling world, but also to his family, especially his children, parents, cousins and Uncles (The Wild Samoans), some who were with WWE while Yokozuna was also under contract.

One year later, Yokozuna's Uncle Afa and family decided to have the first Yokozuna Memorial show to help his children and celebrate the life and career of one of the most iconic champions in wrestling history. Stars from all over the world wrestled on the event in order to show their respect to their fallen friend. It was one of the only times that members of the WWE, WCW and ECW shared a locker room and were on the same card. The show featured stars from all over the world such as The Undertaker and Kane, Billy Kidman, Shannon Moore, Jamie Knoble, The Island Boyz (now known as Rosey and the late Umaga), Afa Jr aka Manu, JBL, Faarooq, Gene Snisky, "The Black Pearl" Reno, Tonga Kid, Bill Alfonso, Low Ki and Homicide. The show also featured young up and coming talent who are now main stays and stars in WXW C4 such as Eric Cobian, Smooth Tommy Suede, Supreme Lee Great, Billy Dream, Nuisance, and Da Hit Squad. The evening was topped off by a reunion of the former WWE Tag Team Champions The Headshrinkers, Samu and Rikishi. WXW C4 is currently in talks with stars from all over the world who want to participate in this unique event.

This could be the last time we will be able to honor Yokozuna in such a grand fashion.

This special event will be held one day before what would have been Yokozuna's Birthday. Over time our accomplishments may be overlooked, at least by the younger fans, but to the older ones I hope Yokozuna and all of us from that era, hold a special place in their memories. His children are grown now and we want to show them what a great and respected man their father was, to fans and wrestlers alike.

Be sure to keep watching Blast TV and visiting WXWC4.com as more information on the Memorial Show and participants are announced. The front office would also like to thank Harrah's Chester Casino and Racetrack for hosting what will be C4's show of the decade. More information will be released as it becomes available.

WXW C-4, Allentown, PA
10/01/2011: Allentown, Pa - Rodney Anoa’i, better known to the wrestling world as The Mighty Yokozuna, was one of the greatest Superstars in WWE history. Heralded as one of the best big men EVER in the sport, he possessed unmatched agility for a man of his size. Inside the ring he dominated the ranks of the WWE defeating the likes of Lex Luger, Bret The Hitman Hart, Hulk Hogan and countless others during his reign as Champion. Outside of the ring he was one of the most likable personalities in the eyes of his peers and fans alike. The wrestling world mourned the loss of Yokozuna in 2000. In 2001 WXW and the Anoa’i family held The Yokozuna Memorial Show in Allentown Pa. The show was attended by hundreds of fans & wrestlers who wished to show their support, as well as WWE Superstars, The Undertaker, Kane, JBL and Ron Simmons to name a few. It was a great night celebrating the life and career of Rodney Anoa’i.

This October 1st, come help us celebrate what would have been the 45th birthday of this gentle giant and show his children while he may be gone, he’ll never be forgotten. Samu Anoa’i, the children of Yokozuna, Keilani and Justin Anoa’i and WXW-C4 are proud to present,

The Yokozuna Memorial II Ten Years in the Making!! “Gone But Never Forgotten”

We are currently in negotiations with a few venues in the Philadelphia area, trying to find just the right place to accommodate such a special event.
