ALLENTOWN, PA – The time has finally arrived for WXW C4′s biggest show of the year and once again it promises NOT to disappoint. This Sunday, the Blast TV camera’s will be rolling at 3pm at Cedar Beach in Allentown, PA for Sportsfest 2012 featuring the biggest names and matches that independent wrestling has to offer. And as always this huge event is FREE to the public, so be sure to get to Cedar Beach early to secure the best seats in the house.
WXW C4 has made 2012 the year of the tag team and Sportsfest 2012 will showcase two of the hottest tag teams wrestling has to offer in the Sportsfest Main Event. Earlier this year at the Samoan Cup Fusion DS took home the coveted trophy to become the second Samoan Cup winners. In the finals the team of Havoc and AC Anderson put up a valiant effort only to be thwarted by current Tag Team Champions The Dirty Rotten Scoundrelz. While the hatred between DRS and AC & Havoc runs deep and another meeting between the two will take place in the coming weeks, the South Side Terminators are determined to prove at Sportsfest that the wrong team won the tournament this year when the main event sees a rematch between The South Side Terminators of AC Anderson and Havoc and Fusion DS.
The Ultimate World Championship will once again be on the line at Sportsfest when two of WXW C4′s most successful stars go one on one for the title. Former WWE Stars will collide when “Mean” Gene Snisky defends against Afa Jr and this match promises to be nothing less then brutal. Afa Jr started 2012 as the Ultimate World Champion but lost the belt in a controversial manner to a returning Snisky in a No DQ match at our debut event in Wind Gap, PA. During the match Eric Cobian, who was thought to be injured, executed a measure of revenge against Afa by blasting him with a baby carriage allowing Snisky to pick up the win and the title. Since then the two have been battling all over Pennsylvania and it will all come to a head at Sportsfest. Who will walk away with the Gold and represent WXW C4 as it’s Champion as we enter the second half of 2012?
Another title will be on the line at Sportsfest, this time a special first time match for C4 fans. Australia’s New Horizon Pro Wrestling’s Art of Fighting Champion Homicide will take on Sammi Callihan. Many companies wanted this match but only one company and one event was big enough to win the bid for this match: Sportsfest. This promises to be a hard hitting match and with the NHPW Art Of Fighting Championship on the line, it’ll be one that cannot be seen anywhere else but WXW C4!
